In the fall of 2002, almost by accident, we visited family for a month in Ålesund, Norway
That seemed such a good idea .. so the next fall a month in Venice
Then in October 2004 we rented a month in Provence

Time for another sabbatical-length trip .. so first we spent Oct/Nov/Dec of 2006 in Paris!
.. then why come back to Minnesota for the winter .. so off to Spain for four months
.. including an eye-opening April week in Morocco
The dollar was down, Europe was expensive, so why not five fall weeks in Mexico in 2008?
Back to Paris for September 2009 and September 2010 to see Rolf and Karen
After Christmas 2011 in Paris, a more adventurous trip .. April 2013 to Istanbul

May 2019 found us back in Cambridge UK where we spent a wonderful 1984 sabbatical
After a pandemic pause, in 2022 we returned to Como for a wonderful September
Meanwhile, one of the most transcendent places we know is much closer .. in northern Arizona
