Services for Alex Goetz, 71, Halliday, were to be held this Monday afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church here. Mr. Goetz was killed Friday in a accident near Hebron. Born Sept. 7, 1904, in Russia, he came with his parents to Krem in 1908 and later moved with them to a homestead near Halliday. He married Emma Miller, Dec. 9, 1928, at Halliday. Mr. Goetz leaves his widow; three sons, Elmer and Victor, both of Halliday, and Harold, Fargo; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Wilma) Freise, Bismarck; three brothers, Edward, Bismarck, and Gottfried and Walter, both of Halliday; three sisters, Mrs. J Jacob Klatt, Killdeer, and Minnie Goetz and Mrs. Irvin Richau, both of Halliday; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
