Several sources list Dustin Klusman as Donald’s stepson. It’s not clear whether he’s the child of Walter and Leila Simfinderfer or Patsy and George Kearnes.

Donald W. Klusman, 70, Albany, Ore., formerly of Missoula, Mont., and Bismarck, passed away on April 14, 2009, at his home. A going home celebration will be held at 1 p.m. PDT today, April 22, at Albany First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Lewis R. Shelton officiating.
He was born Dec. 26, 1938, in Leeds, the son of Walter and Dorothea (Wildi) Klusman. He was raised in New Salem. He marred Patsy Richter on April 25, 1975.
Donald entered the U.S. Navy on May 29, 1956, at the Great Lakes Navel Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill. He served in the Pacific Ocean out of Long Beach Naval Station, Calif., until he was honorably discharged on Dec. 5, 1957. He subsequently worked primarily as an over-the-road truck driver and in the security field, including service as a sheriff's deputy in Burleigh County.
He was a member of the Albany First Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed traveling, especially to the Oregon Coast to view the ocean. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, and he made special efforts to stay in touch, by telephone, with relatives and friends he developed over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy; his son, Donald Klusman; his grandchildren, Douglas, Loren, Nichole and Deanna and Travis; his great-granddaughter, Hailey Lynn; his daughter-in-law, Wendy and her husband, Gus Voss, all of Detroit; one brother, James Klusman and his wife, Nancy, Lafayette, Ind.; and one sister, Laurie Klusman and her husband, Russell Poulin, Longmont, Colo.
