Suzanne had five children with her first husband James Olson, from whom she was divorced in 1985. They are Michael, David, Kristin, Melissa and Jennifer Olson.

Then in 1989 she married James Pryor, whose wife Norma had died in 1988. With Norma, James was the father of four children: Carol, John, Beverly and Barbara Pryor. Those four became Suzanne’s adult step-children.
