Misc. Notes
At the very end of a 20-page GAEBE genealogy (source unknown) is an entry for ANNE MARGARETH ROSENGARTEN, indented and formatted to suggest she is the wife of COLON (which means “landowner”) GAEBE, the second name from the top. COLON”S first wife is marked “unknown spouse” and their son GERD is born in 1774. Perhaps ANNE MARGARETH ROSENGARTEN, married “about 1774,” is herself that mysterious “unknown” spouse.
Ancestry.com says so, that she is the wife of Colon Hermann Heinrich Gaebe (in May 2020).
Familysearch.org adds further confusion, showing that Ann Margarethe married Johann Friederich Lampe in 1758 and had seven children, but that she also married Hermann Heinrich Gaebe in 1760 and had six children. Those children have somewhat similar names and birthdates but none are identical. Arbitrarily, perhaps, her children listed here are with Hermann Heinrich Gaebe. Johann Friederich Lampe is not mentioned.
Marriage15 Nov 1760, Dielingen, Kreis Lübecke, Westphalia, Germany
