One of the 2 cousin's of Jens Hansen Dixen, that was already homesteading in Iriquios, Dakota Territoy in 1883. He was a many talented person, but something of an adventurer. He had been with the French Foriegn Legion and fought (against Zulu Koppene) in Africa. He helped build the railroad that went across Dakota, and he had many men working for him.
