Misc. Notes
One source lists a sixth child for Johann and Henrietta:
It says that child is Heinrich Friedrich Freyse - born August 30, 1819, to Johann Christian Freyse and Henriette Luise Piper and baptised Sept. 19, 1819, in St. Kilian Church in Höxter. The source is Germany Births and Baptisms, 1558-1898. That child’s birth would follow that of Johann Christian’s fifth child, Ernst August Heinrich Ludwig, born July 21, by less than six weeks. That’s not probable .. so that child is not included here.

Another source, Manfred Freise, spoke of his father, Friedrich Freise, born in 1897, as having a half-brother, whose father was Johann Christian Freise, born in 1779. It is confusing that familysearch.org shows a Johann Christian Freise (a) as the child of Johann Christian and Henrietta Piper but (b) born just a few weeks after a previous child. Freise family records show that Johann Christian and Henrietta Pieper had five children, they don’t mention a sixth. So this genealogy chooses to ignore this Heinrich Friedrich Freyse, born in 1819.

Höxter is on the Weser river in the state of Hannover in Germany. Freise has long been the dominant family name in Höxter. Click the camera icon for photos of the Rathaus in Höxter and the St. Kiliani Church

Misc. Notes
In familysearch.org, her last name is given as “Piper.” But in the church archives in Bielefeld, Germany, her last name is Pieper" and thus it is spelled Pieper here.
