Bertha was home until she went to “Husmorskolen” [literally house mother school) at Somme in Haaland in 1929, and later came to Oslo where she had a house [mother] post.

At home she was a member of a Figgio Turn Society [what’s this?] and the youth team Brastøy. Then a member of an Oslo Turn Society.
